This is a compound Unani medicine. It is used to evacuate the renal and bladder calculi through urine by breaking it into small particles. Its name is due to the stone which is collected from a fish. Useful in kidney stones, renal pain and stones in the bladder. It breaks the stone and passes it through the urinary tract. It also clears the excretion of certain substances formed due to metabolic disorder that encourages kidney stone formation.

Indications of Kaknaj Tablet

It removes kidney stones and helps in easy urination. It also relieves kidney pain.

Asalussoos, Behdana, Tukhm Khubazi, Tukhm Khurfa, Tukhm Khashkhash, Tukhm Khatmi, Habb-e-Kaknaj, Kateera, Gond Safaid, Maghz Kharbooza, Maghz Kaddu, Nishasta Gandum.

How to use Kaknaj Tablet

To be given 3 Tablets twice daily with 125 ml of Arq Gauzban and 25 ml of Sharbat Bazoori or as directed by the Unani Physician.

Precautions to be taken while using Kaknaj Tablet

• Keep away from children’s reach
• Do not overdose on the medicine
• Self-medication is not recommended
• Store in a dry and cool place
• Close the medicine cap tightly after every use
• Keep the medicine in the original package and container
