Suranjan Talkh – Colchicum Luteum

Suranjan Kadvi used in the management of Waja ul Mafasil (Arthritis). The corms of Colchicum autumnale is chiefly used to relieve the pain and inflammation and shorten the duration of acute gout and certain gouty infections.

Suranjaan Bitter is Analgesic, Resolvent, Anti-inflammatory, Anti-rheumatic, Astringent, Cathartic, Anti-phlegmatic, Concoctive, alterative, Aphrodisiac, Carminative, Laxative, Desiccant, Local Irritant, Emetic, Anodyne, Purgative, Sedative, Diuretic and Soporific.

The dry corm of Suranjaan is bitter, pungent, hot and Kapha vata suppressant, therefore it is used in Inflammation, Swelling, Joint pain, Gout, Sciatica, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Indigestion, and Healing of Wounds.
