Suranjan Shirin – Colchicum Luteum
Suranjan is anti-inflammatory, diuretic, aphrodisiac, expectorant, and anti-arthritic in action.
How to use Suranjan?
Suranjana decoction(Kwath) for arthritis:
- Take 1 tablespoon (10 grams) of powder of suranjan and add it to 2 cups of water. Boil this mixture until the total content gets reduced to 1 cup. Then filter this kwath and drink.
Cold infusion for urinary disorders:
- First, Take 10 gram of suranjan powder and add it to 100 ml of cold water. Then keep it for 1-2 hours. Then crush it with your hands and filter that water through a sieve. Drink 20-40 ml of it daily. This pacifies dysuria, burning during urination, recurrent episodes of UTI etc.
Hot infusion for sciatica pain and neuralgia:
- 20-40 ml of hot infusion of Suranjana is found effective to reduce the radiating pain that is caused in any of the neuralgia cases especially brachial neuralgia and sciatica conditions
